Experience Change with Faye Kinirons

Therapy can be an opportunity for you to develop self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of the ways in which you relate to both yourself and others. It can be a place to explore and make sense of the things that are getting in the way of you living the life that you wish to live. This will involve us working together to explore the issues you bring.

My Services

Lavender Fields

Individual Therapy

My services encompass both short-term and open-ended therapy options based on your individual needs. Employing an integrative relational approach, I incorporate elements from Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Existential perspectives into my practice. I create a supportive, non-judgemental environment where we can collaboratively explore your challenges, whether they stem from past experiences or current circumstances.

My diverse experience includes working with people facing anxiety, low mood, stress, self-esteem issues, chronic physical health conditions, adolescents navigating the challenges of adolescence and individuals dealing with drug and alcohol misuse. I also has experience working with individuals wanting to address ‘personality disorders’ particularly EUPD, histrionic and avoidant as well as those struggling with OCD.

I also have experience working with individuals who are neurodivergent, including those with ADHD. I understand the unique strengths and challenges that can come with neurodiversity. It is not uncommon for individuals with ADHD to struggle, for example, with emotional regulation, self-esteem, hypersensitivity to criticism or rejection. Women, in particular, often go undiagnosed, which can mean they are more likely to experience anxiety and depression. I work with my clients to explore their unique experience, supporting them to find ways of coping with any issues they may encounter.

Initial contact

Making initial contact with a therapist can be challenging, especially if you haven't experienced therapy before. Please feel free to text, call, or email to arrange a free, initial consultation of up to 15 minutes to discuss your needs.

Initial Assessment

Deciding to start therapy can be unnerving. Therefore, I offer an initial session at a reduced cost, during which we can assess if we might be a good fit to work together. The relationship that develops between us will be fundamental to our work, so it's essential that you choose a therapist you feel is the right fit for you.
